July means that we are smack in the middle of beach season! The beach is one of my absolute favorite places to be. Laying in the sun, feeling the sand between my toes, listening to the crashing waves....ahhh. Today I'm joining Adore Me's swimwear focused #BeachDayMusts conversation and sharing some of the things that I love for a beach day. Click here to visit their awesome swim shop!

At the beach, along with my sunglasses, I usually like to bring a hat with me. Baseball hats and floppy hats are both great options for keeping the sun out of your face! For entertaining myself while laying in the sand I turn to music and reading. Headphones and my phone are a must for playing my favorite songs while soaking up the sun. The book that I'm currently reading is It's Good to be Gronk because, as you may know by now, I'm a huge Patriots fan.

If it's an evening at the beach or a day that you simply want to wear a little makeup while there, I highly recommend Physician's Formula's Butter Bronzer. I love the natural effect this bronzer has! Bonus: it smells like coconuts and the beach!

Along with protecting your skin with sunscreen, don't forget to protect your lips! Chapstick is definitely a beach must-have of mine. Keeping my lips moisturized and protected from the sun is always necessary on a beach day! (or any day, for that matter)

After a day at the beach, an aloe moisturizer is great for replenishing sun-kissed skin. I love this Soothing Aloe moisturizer from Jergens brand. Salt water and sun will leave your hair needing replenishing as well! I love using Lock Luster oil treatment by Not Your Mother's. It's alcohol free and infused with Argan and Macadamia oil, which means it's really moisturizing and healthy for your hair!
