Sorry To Get All Political: Dear "Never Trump" Republicans

Dear "Never Trump" Republicans,

If you're still pouting and whining about how Trump isn't conservative enough, experienced enough, political enough, polished enough, etc. to be our presidential candidate, maybe it's time you got a reality check.

Because here's the thing. Whether you like it or not, he's our candidate.

Is he a perfect conservative? No. Is he a perfect Republican nominee? No.
Is anyone? Also, no.

I get it. You had other candidates in mind. Heck, I was all about Ted Cruz. But it is what it is. Whining or threatening not to vote at all does absolutely no good.

You "Never Trump"ers all claim to know conservatism. You all claim to recognize all the differences between a true conservative and a phony conservative. Yet, as I sit here watching you all throwing tantrums, it's your conservatism that I question. It's your thought process that I'm having trouble understanding.

It's over. You have to stop discussing all the reasons why Trump can't. You have to find and promote the reasons why he can. If conservatism is your priority, you have to get behind someone that can stop the nominee that is farthest from it: Clinton.

Get off your high horses and realize this: choosing not to vote for Trump because he wasn't your ideal Republican candidate, is ultimately choosing to vote for Clinton. At this point, avoiding a potential 8 years of Hillary should be your biggest concern if conservatism is what you fight for.

I get it. You think Rubio would have been better. Or Cruz or Kasich... But it's too late for that. Trump worked and won. So get over yourselves and act like you actually do care about conservatism as much as you claim to and get behind your party.

Sincerely,

A republican that's sick of her party's BS.

  1. I loved everything about! I've been on the Trump Train since the first debate and I'm sick and tired of the Republican Party still giving there candidate a hard time. If trump didn't get the GOP I would have supported the nominee but for some reason it's doubled sided when it comes to The Donald. keep it up! trump 2016
