Where are you from?
As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am a military brat and am from all over the place (12 places to be exact)! I've mainly lived in the South East (Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia) and spent most of high school in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Why did you start your blog?
I started my blog because I love writing and sharing my opinion, thoughts, interests, etc. and blogging is a creative outlet for doing just that!
What is the meaning behind your blog name?
I knew that I wanted to be able to encompass all my interests on my blog no matter how different the genres and I wanted my blog's name to reflect that. I went with Grand Slams & Glitter in order to pull together my love for sports and my love for fashion/beauty into one title.
What are your career goals?
I am currently a college student and as of now, my career goals are to work in the sports industry doing PR or journalism.
Favorite food?
I have 5. In no particular order. Steak, ice cream, mashed potatoes, cheese, and pizza. I really want to add tacos to my list too. Can I actually have 6 favorites? (also, such healthy choices, right?!)
Favorite TV show?
Can't pick just one! My favorites are: One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, The Office, Friends, and New Girl!
Favorite movie?
The Sandlot. "You're killin' me Smalls." When I was in 4th grade I watched it practically every day for a while…if you watch it with me I'll probably be really annoying and recite half the movie for you. (Oops.)
Hot or cold?
Hot! No question there! I hate being cold and love the heat of summer time.
3 random facts about you?
1.) I love being silly and goofy and laughing until my stomach hurts. It's one of my most favorite things. In conjunction, I love being around people with a good sense of humor.
2.) I sing all the time. It doesn't sound great but I love to sing regardless and always have. Especially in the car and shower. Sometimes you just need to belt it out with Carrie Underwood, you feel me?
3.) I have a major addiction to chapstick and have had this addiction for as long as I can remember. Extra fun fact about this: When I was in high school, one morning on the way to school I realized I didn't have chapstick with me and I cried a little. (LOL) The idea of going the entire school day without chapstick on hand actually terrified me. I need that stuff like I need air to breathe.
Thanks for reading and getting to know me!
Xo, Emma
