Writing has always been something I enjoy doing and my creative side loves the idea of using a blog as my platform for sharing some of my thoughts through words and pictures and so, Grand Slams & Glitter was born! Thanks for stopping by!
I'm a huge sports fan but also love all things fashion. That's how I came up with the name Grand Slams & Glitter, with the idea of wanting to encompass both of those things that I love and everything in between on this blog. In short, this is a lifestyle blog and a place where I choose to spill my thoughts on sports, style, life, etc. and all with a touch (probably a lot more than a touch) of humor and sarcasm.
I'm 22 years old and a recent college grad. I grew up as a military brat and have lived in a ton of different places. The way in which I grew up has shaped me into the person I am today and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My family and friends are so so important to me and I care so deeply about them. I've been so blessed with all the amazing people that God has placed in my life and I am so grateful for each of them.
I'm a HUGE goofball and am almost never serious...people legitimately don't take me seriously half the time because I'm always joking around, being sarcastic, and acting like a complete weirdo. What can I say? I like to have fun! Sue me!
I've always loved clothes and style since I was little and would walk around in my mom's shoes or try on bags at the mall saying, "Mommy, doesn't this look great on me?" (I actually said that...what a diva child...jeez)
I'm also a huge sports nut. I'm a Boston sports fan so yeah...I like to win. ;) I love watching sports and have since I was little. There's something so fun about it to me and I can't get enough. There's something so great about investing yourself in a team and its players and rooting for their success. It's just fun.
Well, that's a little about myself and about this blog and I won't drag on this "about me" page any longer but if you've got any burning questions for me, leave a comment and I'll get back to you on that! :)
